Doctor Davis is an orthopedic surgeon for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center and has been so since 1983. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is licensed to practice in Maryland.
In regard to his education, Doctor Randy Davis earned his BA and MD at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He interned at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed his residency there as well. Dr. Davis would not leave the Johns Hopkins University for good though. He currently serves as an associate professor of orthopedics and neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University. However, he now spends more of his time working as an associate professor at the University of Maryland teaching spine fellows at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Today, Dr. Randy Davis continues his work in orthopedic surgery, spinal implant design, lecturing, and more. When he is not in the hospital or the classroom, he can be found helping others. He works with Dr. Ben Carson and his nonprofit organization, the Carson Scholars Program, to provide scholarships to students who exemplify humanitarianism and academic excellence.
